I don't tend to hang on to sketches but found
this one while cleaning up. I remember this
was a rush assignment and fortunately
no changes were asked for; it went from
sketch to finish in the matter
of three days or so.
Susan, I loved seeing the sketch because I like seeing your process of creating. You know I've always admired your art; not just your art as a finished product, but your art as a creative medium. I never could figure out how all of the different ideas came out of one brain. Laura P.

I've been digging up old sketches lately and they have an interesting browned, wrinkled and spotty look to them. hmmm.

It's interesting to look at these things when some time has passed, very different things seem more important than the first time around.
